Constraint: Teacher: Maximum gap length

Specification

Checks the duration (in periods) of each gap in the teacher's timetable.

Deviation

Broken if the duration exceeds the allowed maximum specified in the teacher configuration set.

Comments

The penalty increment for a deviation is quadratic, i.e. the deviation of size 1 produces the constraint's configured penalty, deviation of size 2 produces four times the penalty etc.
