Integration with iSAMS

iSAMS partner

Import

To import (export) data from (to) iSAMS, Skolaris connects via a secure channel to your school's dedicated REST API using specific credentials obtained from iSAMS.

The REST API is only available to iSAMS Partners on the Developer Standard and Enterprise plans and requires the iSAMS client school to have an active subscription to the API Services Manager. 3rd party software suppliers must make it clear to schools that do not currently subscribe to the API Services Manager that this is a chargeable extra that must be budgeted for each year.

Source: iSAMS support website

The credentials with which Skolaris can connect to your iSAMS instance are unique. Please contact iSAMS support to generate them for you.
Never enter your iSAMS username and password into the form!

Open the Import screen via the main navigation's Data section. Click Import from MIS, then the iSAMS icon.

Enter the network address of your iSAMS instance into the School URL field and the credentials obtained from iSAMS into the Client ID and Client Secret fields.

Enter the starting date of the academic term which you want to create the timetable for into the From field.

Click Import to start the import.

After your data has been imported, don't forget to configure your class groups and teachers before proceeding with the timetable creation.
