A teacher configuration set is a group of settings for constraints related to
teachers.
Teaching
Working limits
This section gives you a chance to specify working limits for your teachers, such as maximum periods spent at
school between arrival and leaving, maximum teaching periods of those, and maximum teaching periods before taking a break.
Busy and idle time clustering
For teachers with low workloads, usually it is not desirable to go to school to teach one
lesson only and cluster their busy times and idle times so that they have free days.
This is a simpler version of time field limits.
Teaching load and cover
The total teaching periods per week can be used to assess workload while putting in basic data such as
lessons, and can later be observed while using the cover management during the
academic term. It has no influence on the
timetable creation itself.
Gaps
Teacher gaps are sometimes necessary, but a good
timetable should not contain too many. Specify the limits that are generally acceptable here. If a timetable contains more gaps, Skolaris will try to eliminate them.
Staggered lunch
As opposed to students,
teachers may have greater flexibility with their lunches. If the lunch is fixed then it is taken simultaneously with the students and the settings should be the same as in the case of
class groups. In all other cases, put your preferences in here.
Moves and transit
This is exactly the same as
class group configuration.
